Issued 9:30 AM NST 14 December 2019 Today Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 a.m. NST today low 975 mb located southeast of Greenland.By 4:00 p.m. NST today departing low 979 mb located southeast
of Greenland.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching low 972 mb located over Quebec.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located over Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:22 AM NST 14 December 2019 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continueto move southeastward today. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
over the East Labrador Sea will diminish tonight as a ridge of high
pressure approaches from the west.
Another intense low pressure system will approach Labrador on Sunday
from the southwest. Gale to storm force east to southeasterlies will
spread across most waters on Sunday ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.
