Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:17 AM NDT 17 September 2019 A low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will slowly drift
eastward today. A trough extending northwest of the low over Belle
Isle Bank will move to lie over the East Coast of Newfoundland
tonight. Strong to gale force north to northeasterlies can be
expected in the wake of these features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, and
South Labrador Sea.
