Issued 6:11 PM EDT 08 August 2026 Showers and thunderstorms are expected to track east across the region this evening ahead of a cold front. Squalls with wind gusts up to 45 knots, frequent lightning and hail are possible.

Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
