Eastern Lake ErieIssued 4:34 PM EDT 15 October 2021 At 4:34 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.
A thunderstorm just south of Port Colborne over Lake Erie is likely producing a tornado. This thunderstorm is moving east at 25 knots.
This thunderstorm is expected to remain over Lake Erie as it moves east towards the international border.
