Issued 12:03 PM EDT 12 June 2026 This afternoon and evening, conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts of up to 50 knots, numerous lightning strikes and poor to very poor visibilities due to rain showers at times heavy.Proceed with caution as visibility may suddenly be reduced to near-zero. Vessels without lightning protection should make their way to shore immediately. Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Consider delaying or postponing travel in areas under the Squall Watch.
