Issued 1:12 PM EDT 13 May 2024 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 45 knots, frequent lightning and hail.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop along a stalled front this afternoon. Wind gusts up to 45 knots will be possible as well as up to nickel sized hail.

Large hail can damage vessels and cause injury. Vessels without lightning protection should make their way to shore immediately.
