Issued 4:41 PM EDT 15 April 2026 Squalls with wind gusts up to 50 knots, frequent lightning, hail up to 2 centimetres and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times are expected or occurring in the area.Thunderstorms are moving towards the northeast at 35 knots.
Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous. Proceed with caution as visibility may suddenly be reduced to near zero. Vessels without lightning protection should make their way to shore immediately. Mariners are advised to prepare for squalls. If underway, seek safe harbour immediately.
