Issued 1:08 PM EDT 21 June 2025 Squalls with wind gusts up to 45 knots, frequent lightning, hail of 1 to 2 centimetres and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times are expected or occurring in the area.A line of thunderstorm is moving east at 30 knots and will impact Georgian Bay early this afternoon.
Proceed with caution as visibility may suddenly be reduced to near zero. Vessels without lightning protection should make their way to shore immediately. Mariners are advised to prepare for squalls. If underway, seek safe harbour immediately. If you must travel, keep others informed of your planned route and carry appropriate safety equipment including a GPS and satellite phone or marine radio.
