Technical Marine SynopsisIssued 9:30 AM NDT 2 October 2022 Today Tonight and Monday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary trough located over the
coast of Greenland.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located over northern Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday ridge located on a line north-south over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:10 AM NDT 2 October 2022 A trough of low pressure will stall along the coast of Greenland.
Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will slowly build eastward to lie
over the Labrador Sea by Monday afternoon. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies are expected between these features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek and the Labrador Sea.
