Issued 4:00 AM NDT 2 October 2023 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 AM NDT 2 October 2023 A trough of low pressure over the East Labrador Sea will remain
nearly stationary through the forecast period. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies are expected east of the trough today before
diminishing overnight as the trough weakens.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea - northeastern half.
