over central Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Tuesday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the South Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:22 AM NST 8 March 2021 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will move
southeastward today then depart east of Belle Isle Bank tonight.
Strong to gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the trough will
diminish tonight as a ridge of high pressure builds into the Labrador
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
