At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
By 4:00 p.m. NST Tuesday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST Tuesday approaching trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Labrador.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:57 AM NST 30 November 2020 An intensifying low pressure system southeast of the marine district
will slowly drift northeastward to lie well east of Greenland on
Tuesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies in the wake of the low
will gradually diminish later today or tonight except over the East
Labrador Sea where they will persist into Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and the Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.
