At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 990 mb located over Anticosti Island.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Saturday low 994 mb located over the Mid Labrador
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:40 PM NDT 18 October 2019 A low pressure system over Anticosti Island will continue
northeastwards across Southeastern Labrador tonight and stall off the
Mid Labrador Coast on Saturday. Strong to gale force southeasterly to
northeasterly winds will spread across the marine district tonight
ahead of the low. Strong to gale force northerlies will persist
behind the low on Saturday, especially over northern sections of the
Mid Labrador Coast, where gale force northerlies will continue well
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
