Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 AM NDT 13 October 2026 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 972 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located over western Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 AM NDT 13 October 2026 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will remain
nearly stationary today and tonight. At the same time, a ridge of
high pressure will approach from the west to cross the Labrador Sea
on Wednesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will persist over
most waters today between these features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
