Showers with a risk of thunderstorms changing to rain Friday evening.

Issued 8:06 PM CDT 18 July 2019 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 50 knots.

Severe thunderstorms are possible over most of the Manitoba Lakes this evening. The threat of severe weather should end by late tonight.

Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Consider delaying or postponing travel in areas under the Squall Watch.
