By 9:30 p.m. PDT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Haida Gwaii.

Issued 3:47 PM PDT 17 September 2024 A ridge over the offshore waters will strengthen as aTrough weakens over Vancouver Island tonight.
With the building ridge, strong to gale force northwesterlies will
persist from west coast Haida Gwaii down to northern parts of
Explorer into the early evening and ease before midnight.
