Issued 9:30 PM PDT 31 March 2023 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary low located off the
Alaska panhandle.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located southwest
of the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM PDT 31 March 2023 A frontal system extending across Vancouver Island will track across
the strait to lie inland later tonight. Strong to gale force
southerlies over central and southern coastal waters this evening
will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies as the system
departs the South Coast.

Moderate to strong northwesterlies will dominate across the marine
district through the remainder of the forecast period as a low
remains nearly stationary to the north of the region, and a ridge
remains stationary to the south of the region.
