Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:30 AM PST 4 March 2024 A ridge of high pressure over the interior and a broad trough over
the South Coast will combine to give gale force outflow winds to
Douglas Channel, Dixon Entrance - east, and the Central Coast today,
Tuesday and Wednesday.

These outflow winds combined with cold temperatures will generate
freezing spray in Douglas Channel and a risk of freezing spray near
the other mainland inlets in the mornings.

On Tuesday, a trough will approach the offshore waters from the west,
generating strong to gale force southerlies in the evening.
