Wind light increasing to southeast 15 knots early this evening and to southeast 20 late this evening. Wind increasing to east 30 near midnight then becoming southwest 25 to 35 late overnight except northeast 25 to 35 over northern sections. Wind becoming northerly 20 to 30 near noon Friday then becoming northwest 20 Friday evening.

Rain beginning this evening changing to showers Friday afternoon. Fog patches dissipating early this evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in fog patches and in rain.

Issued 10:30 AM PST 4 December 2025 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located off Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Friday departing frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over eastern Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday low 998 mb located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday low 996 mb located over Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:28 AM PST 4 December 2025 An approaching frontal system will track across the offshore waters
tonight and onto the mainland coast Friday morning. Ahead of the
front, strong to gale force southeast winds will develop over
offshore waters this evening and spread to northern and central
waters tonight.

In its wake, winds will shift to southwest gales over northern and
central waters and reach storm force westerlies over offshore areas.
