By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight dissipating low located over the Central
Coast.
At 4:00 p.m. PST today trough from low located over Queen Charlotte
Sound extending southward.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday dissipating trough located over the
Lower Mainland.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday frontal system located off Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii
extending southward.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:52 PM PST 5 March 2021 A low pressure centre over Queen Charlotte Sound will move onto theCentral Coast this evening. Gale to storm force winds in the vicinity
of the low will abate as the low departs tonight.
In the wake of an associated trough, southeast gales over the
southern water will ease late this evening.
On Saturday, southeast gales will develop over most marine waters as
another front approaches.
