Issued 9:30 PM PST 17 February 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary trough located over
Vancouver Island to Haida Gwaii.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST Wednesday approaching frontal system located
northwest of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:07 PM PST 17 February 2026 Gale force north or northwesterlies over the offshore waters will
continue through late Wednesday.

An Arctic high pressure ridge over Northern British Columbia will
remain stationary over the British Columbia Interior. Gale force
outflow winds, with the potential of freezing spray, can be expected
through the mainland inlets along the north and Central Coast from
tonight through Thursday morning. Outflow winds will periodically
reach storm force northeasterlies through the Central Coast inlets
tonight and Wednesday.
