By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday frontal system located on a line north-south
over the Central Coast.

Issued 9:22 PM PDT 12 October 2024 A frontal system currently located over Haida Gwaii will continue tomove along the coast, reaching the Central Coast early Sunday
morning.
Gale to storm force southeasterlies will persist over large areas of
the northern waters, central waters, and over West Coast Vancouver
Island North for tonight.
For the northern waters, the strong winds will begin to weaken
Before morning while the central waters will likely see the winds
weaken by late afternoon. For west coast Vancouver Island
North, an extended period of strong winds will continue until late
Sunday night.
