Issued 9:30 PM PST 3 March 2024 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight low located over the southern Strait
of Georgia.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Monday departing low located over the Lower
Mainland.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight quasi-stationary ridge located over
northern BC interior.

At 4:00 a.m. PST Monday ridge located northwest of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PST Monday ridge located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 PM PST 3 March 2024 A ridge of high pressure over the interior and a broad low pressure
system over the South Coast will combine to give gale force outflow
winds to Douglas Channel, Dixon Entrance - east, and the Central
Coast
Tonight and Monday morning.

These outflow winds combined with cold temperatures will generate
freezing spray in Douglas Channel and a risk of freezing spray near
the other mainland inlets tonight and Monday morning.
