Issued 10:18 AM PDT 13 May 2026 A ridge of high pressure offshore continues to slowly drift eastwardtoday. Strong westerly winds will strengthen to gale force westerlies
over Johnstone Strait, and central and eastern sections of the Juan
de Fuca Strait by this afternoon. Winds will ease near midnight
tonight.
