Issued 10:30 AM PDT 13 May 2026 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today ridge located over northern Vancouver
Island.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Thursday ridge located from Vancouver Island to
the North Coast.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today trough located west of Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today dissipating trough located from Hecate
Strait to Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:18 AM PDT 13 May 2026 A ridge of high pressure offshore continues to slowly drift eastward
today. Strong westerly winds will strengthen to gale force westerlies
over Johnstone Strait, and central and eastern sections of the Juan
de Fuca Strait by this afternoon. Winds will ease near midnight
tonight.
