east-west over northern Vancouver Island.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located west of
the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:13 PM PDT 9 September 2026 A weakening cold front will continue moving southward across
Vancouver Island tonight.

In its wake, strong to marginal gale force northwesterlies will
develop off the west coast of Vancouver Island tonight and continue
Thursday.
