Langara.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located from Haida Gwaii to Explorer.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located over BC interior.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT today weakening ridge located over BC interior.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today trough located west of Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening trough located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:27 AM PDT 17 April 2025 A ridge of high pressure over the BC Interior is generating
Strong to gale force outflow winds through Howe Sound. The outflow
will ease this morning as the ridge weakens.

On Friday, a trough of low pressure will move down the BC coasts.
Strong to gale force northwest winds will develop in the wake of this
system.
