northeast-southwest over central Haida Gwaii.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday weakening ridge from high located on a
line north-south over northern Vancouver Island.

At 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday cold front located on a line east-west
over northern Haida Gwaii.
By midnight PDT Monday cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:26 AM PDT 12 April 2026 A ridge axis over Northern Haida Gwaii will shift southeastward
today. Northwesterly winds off the west coast Vancouver Island will
strengthen to marginal gale force wind late this evening.
