At 4:00 a.m. PST today weakening low located over the Gulf of
Alaska.
At 4:00 a.m. PST today building ridge located over the South Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today ridge located from the North Coast to the
South Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Saturday frontal system located off the offshore
waters.

Issued 3:37 AM PST 15 January 2021 A deep low over the Gulf of Alaska will weaken today as a ridgebuilds over the coast. Another Pacific front will move into the
offshore waters early Saturday.
Over northern waters, gale to storm force southwest winds will ease
to moderate to strong southerly this afternoon then increase to gale
to storm force southeast on Saturday.
Over central waters, strong to gale force southwest winds will ease
to moderate southerlies this afternoon then increase to gale to storm
force southeast on Saturday.
