Issued 10:30 AM PDT 3 June 2024 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today intensifying frontal system located west
of the offshore waters.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday departing frontal system located from
Prince Rupert to Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday low 978 mb located over northwestern Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Tuesday weakening low 986 mb located northwest
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:21 AM PDT 3 June 2024 A developing Pacific frontal system is forecast to move into the
offshore waters this afternoon and then cross the central and
northern waters overnight. The system will cross the South Coast
Tuesday morning.

Over central and northern waters, winds will rise to gale to storm
force southeasterlies late today and then shift to strong to gale
force southwesterlies in the wake of the front. Over southern waters,
winds will increase to strong to gale force southeasterlies tonight
and then ease to moderate to strong southwesterlies by Tuesday
afternoon.
