Issued 3:52 PM PDT 22 March 2025 A developing cold front this afternoon is bringing southeast galesfrom Haida Gwaii and the North Coast through the central waters to
Explorer region. Gales will increase to storm force near the
headlands of Vancouver Island this evening. As the warm front sweeps
onto the South Coast it will bring gales to some inner straits
overnight and early Sunday morning. Winds will diminish late Sunday
night. The associated low will drift across Northwestern Bowie
towards the Alaskan Panhandle on Sunday bringing marginal southwest
gales across Northwestern Bowie.
