Hecate Strait.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today building ridge located west of Bowie.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located from Explorer to Haida Gwaii.

At 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday approaching frontal system located over
the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:29 AM PDT 21 April 2024 A trough of low pressure over Northern Hecate Strait will move inland
late this morning while weakening. Strong to gale force westerly
winds over Southern Hecate Strait will ease to moderate to strong
early this afternoon.

A frontal system will enter the offshore waters on Monday evening
giving southeast gales.
