Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:30 AM PST 25 November 2020 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:30 a.m. PST today dissipating low 1014 mb located west of
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PST today frontal system located west of Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Thursday frontal system located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:17 AM PST 25 November 2020 A low pressure centre just west of Vancouver Island will dissipate
today. Strong to gale force northwesterly winds over waters west of
Vancouver Island will ease today as the low dissipates.

A frontal system will approach Bowie this afternoon then move into
northern and central waters and Explorer tonight. The front will
stall on Thursday as it straddles the central and southern waters.
Ahead of the system, gale force southerly winds will develop followed
by strong to moderate northwesterly winds in its wake.
