Issued 4:00 AM PST 9 December 2025 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. PST today frontal system located west of the offshorewaters.
By 10:00 p.m. PST tonight frontal system located from the Central
Coast to Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Wednesday trough located on a line east-west over
northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Wednesday trough located on a line east-west over
Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:50 AM PST 9 December 2025 A frontal system will approach the offshore waters today, bringingsoutheast gales to the central and northern waters. Winds will rise
to storm force southeasterlies over the central waters late this
afternoon. Winds will shift to strong to gale force westerly behind
the system this evening.
A trough will move southward from Bowie to lie over the Queen
Charlotte Sound Wednesday evening. Ahead of the trough, winds will
rise to southwesterly gales over the central waters then shift to
strong to gale force northwesterly in its wake. Winds will subside
Wednesday evening.
