Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today warm front located west of the offshore
waters.
By 10:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing warm front located over
Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:47 AM PDT 8 May 2026 A warm front is approaching the offshore waters today and will move
to lie from Hecate Strait to the Central Coast late day today. Ahead
of the front, gale force east to southeast winds will develop over
waters north of Northern Vancouver Island. In the wake of the front,
strong to gale force southerlies will persist tonight and through
Saturday over northern waters.
