At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located over Hecate Strait.

Issued 10:30 AM PDT 4 October 2024 A low pressure system is currently dissipating over the Central Coastthis morning.
Southeast gales ahead of the low will back to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the low over the central waters and
the headlands of Vancouver Island and weaken later this afternoon.
An approaching frontal system will track across Bowie tonight.
Ahead of the front, another round of southeast/southerly gales will
develop over Bowie late this afternoon and then spread to northern
and central waters tonight.
