Issued 10:30 AM PST 4 March 2021 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:30 a.m. PST today low 982 mb located over northern Explorer.By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight departing low located off Langara.
At 4:00 a.m. PST Friday low 990 mb located over southwestern
Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Friday high 994 mb located near Cape Scott.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:08 AM PST 4 March 2021 A low over Explorer will track northwards across Haida Gwaii tonightand into the Alaskan Panhandle on Friday. Ahead of the low, gale to
hurricane force southerlies will shift to storm to hurricane force
westerly in its wake.
Another low track will track eastwards over Explorer on Friday, then
across Vancouver Island in the evening. Ahead of the low, gale to
storm force southerlies will develop west of Vancouver Island Friday
and spread to the inner South Coast as strong to gale force. In its
wake the winds will shift to strong to gale force westerly.
