extending southwestward.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing cold front located over the
South Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. PST today quasi-stationary low located over the Gulf
of Alaska.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:41 AM PST 28 February 2024 A cold front will track southwards across Vancouver Island today.
Ahead of the front, southwest gales over Southern Explorer and west
coast Vancouver Island will shift to moderate to strong westerlies in
its wake today.

Additionally, westerly gales over Northern Bowie and Dixon west will
ease this morning as a low centre remains over the Gulf of Alaska.
