Issued 10:30 AM PST 6 March 2026 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located on a linenorthwest-southeast over Hecate Strait.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Mainland Coast.
At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight frontal system located west of the
offshore waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Saturday frontal system located from the Central
Coast to Explorer.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:24 AM PST 6 March 2026 A frontal system over Hecate Strait will move onto the mainland coastthis afternoon. Strong to gale force southeasterlies over the
northern and central coastal waters will ease to strong southwest
this afternoon.
Another frontal system will track across Haida Gwaii and move onshore
Saturday. Ahead of the front, strong to gale force westerlies will
redevelop over the offshore waters overnight and then spread to
central and northern waters Saturday morning.
