northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today weakening low 982 mb located over the Gulf
of Alaska.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Sunday dissipating low 996 mb located near the
Aleutian Islands.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:31 AM PDT 9 May 2026 A low is slowly weakening in the Gulf of Alaska. Southerly gales over
Bowie and Dixon east will continue today until the low drifts
northwards later today.
