Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NST 16 November 2019 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NST today deepening low 979 mb located over the Mid
Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 964 mb located south of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:11 PM NST 16 November 2019 A low pressure system over the Mid Labrador Coast will continue to
intensify as it gradually moves to lie south of Greenland by Sunday
afternoon. Gale force northeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to
storm to hurricane force northwesterlies in its wake tonight.
Winds will begin to diminish on Sunday as the low moves eastward.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for South Labrador Coast and Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale
and south. Storm warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
