Issued 9:30 PM NST 19 January 2025 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located over the Northwest
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Monday dissipating trough located over the East
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 1000 mb located south of
Cape Cod.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Monday low 973 mb located over the South Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:30 PM NST 19 January 2025 A low pressure system is expected to rapidly intensify as it tracks
northeastward along the U.S. Eastern Seaboard and just west of
Newfoundland on Monday. The storm will then continue northeastward to
lie over the South Labrador Sea by Monday evening. Gale to storm
force southeasterlies are expected northeast of the low while gale
force north to northwesterlies are expected to its northwest.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, South Labrador
Sea - northwestern half, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
