By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight dissipating low located over the East
Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Torngat Mountains.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday dissipating ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday approaching trough located west of
Ungava Bay.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:20 AM NST 15 January 2021 A low pressure system over northeastern areas of the NorthwestLabrador Sea will slowly track eastward and weaken today. Strong to
gale force northwesterlies to the west of this system will gradually
subside today.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea. Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
