Issued 9:30 PM NST 28 January 2023 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the North Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM NST 28 January 2023 A trough of low pressure will track eastward across the Labrador Sea
tonight and Sunday. Strong southwesterlies ahead of the trough will
veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake on Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except East Labrador Sea.
