of Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Sunday dissipating ridge located on a line
east-west over the Mid Labrador Coast.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Monday trough located east of Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:24 PM NDT 14 March 2026 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continueto track eastward. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure continues to
build in from the west tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
over eastern waters will diminish by Sunday morning as the low
continues to depart.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
