At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight dissipating ridge located east of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:12 PM NST 15 December 2019 An intense low pressure system over Western Labrador will cross theLabrador Interior tonight and then become slow-moving over the Mid
Labrador Coast Monday morning. Gale to storm force east to
southeasterlies will become strong southwesterly to its south on
Monday.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Lake Melville.
