Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NST 23 November 2020 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 998 mb located over New
Brunswick.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Tuesday deepening low 968 mb located over the
South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 PM NST 23 November 2020 A deepening low pressure system will approach the marine district
from the southwest on Tuesday and move to lie over the South Labrador
Sea by Tuesday evening. Winds generally increase to strong to gale
force southeasterly to northeasterly ahead of the low then back to
gale to storm force north to northwesterly as it passes.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast,
and Northwest Labrador Sea.
