Anticosti Island.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 986 mb located over the Mid Labrador

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today dissipating trough located over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 AM NDT 22 April 2024 An intensifying low pressure system just west of Anticosti Island
will track northeast through Labrador today and tonight to lie over
the Labrador Sea by midday Tuesday. Strong to gale force west to
southwesterlies will develop south of the low overnight tonight and

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, and Mid Labrador Coast -
Hopedale and south.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and South
Labrador Sea.
