By 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing trough located east of the Marine
District.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 1018 mb located over the St. Lawrence
River.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 1007 mb located over northern Belle
Isle Bank.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight weakening ridge located over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 AM NDT 20 October 2020 A low pressure system approaching from the southwest will cross the
South Labrador Coast overnight then move to lie east of Belle Isle
Bank by Wednesday morning. Gale force northwesterlies will develop
over the South Labrador Coast overnight in the wake of the low then
diminish as it moves further away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Coast.
