Over open water freezing spray today and Monday except severe freezing spray over western sections late this afternoon tonight and Monday morning.

Temperatures minus 11 to minus 3 falling to minus 15 to minus 7 this evening.

Issued 9:30 AM NDT 8 March 2026 Today Tonight and Monday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 977 mb located over the Northwest
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Monday low 985 mb located north of the East
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Monday ridge located over southeastern Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:24 AM NDT 8 March 2026 A low pressure over the Northwest Labrador Sea will slowly track
east-northeastward to lie north of the district by early Monday
morning. Strong to gale force westerlies to northwesterlies will
develop in the low's wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
