Issued 4:00 PM NST 14 December 2019 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NST today departing low 979 mb located southeastof Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 984 mb located over
southern Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 965 mb located over western Labrador.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located over Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday departing ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:46 PM NST 14 December 2019 Strong to gale force northwesterlies over the East Labrador Sea willdiminish tonight as a ridge of high pressure approaches from the
west.
An intense low pressure system will approach Labrador from the
southwest on Sunday. Gale to storm force east to southeasterlies will
spread across most waters on Sunday ahead of this system.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
South Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest
Labrador Sea.
